The narcotics police have made another multi-million dollar drug bust. Nearly 1,000 pounds of ganja was seized Wednesday morning during a police/military operation on the Bustamante Highway in Clarendon. Seven men were also detained and three motor vehicles seized. The police say about 5 o’clock, members of a joint police/military team intercepted a grey Toyota Noah motorcar. During a search of the vehicle, the nearly 1,000 pounds of ganja was seized. The driver was arrested. Two other vehicles, which were reportedly escorting the Toyota Noah, were also intercepted and the occupants detained. The ganja has a street value of J$100 million.
